When initially viewing your previews, go through them quickly at first and put a check in the upper right corner of the previews that catches your eye. You can Click on the thumbnail to see the larger view, and also Click on multiple images to compare them side-by-side. Click and drag in the image to move, the previews on your screen. From this group select those that have the best look. (Minor imperfections will be removed in the retouching phase) Then make your final choices based on how the portraits will be used.

This selection method helps you to select images that Feels like you, Looks good, and Works best for your use. Once you have made you final selections, Click the envelope icon in the upper right corner to jump to response form to email your selections to the photographer, add your comments as needed.
